About Suburban Shift

Suburban Shift is a site and podcast about living more sustainably in the suburbs.

Under that big umbrella of “sustainability”, we’ll be covering stuff like organic gardening, bike commuting, home energy efficiency, alternative transportation, alternative energy, minimalism, simplicity, recycling, etc. Since money is a big issue for everyone, I’ll be talking about personal finance too.

While the suburbs may be doomed in the long-run by issues related to peak oil, it is our feeling that we can at least modify our lives to make life in the suburbs better.

We’ll be posting links to other people’s articles, our own research, a podcast, videos, pics, etc.
